A commission came in to create an art piece that had the ability to be viewed as a single continual design when materialised in the real world. The idea was to create a 3D backdrop that AJ Tracey could move position himself in, with enough room for expression and movement.
The client had in mind "wavy" lines in a red and white, not something too dissimilar to what you may see in a Dr Seuss Cat in the Hat book, (which became a source of inspiration whilst working).
They sent over a few example images of similar works and requested I devise a way to produce it.

The designs were created at a working scale of 10% in order to maintain a reduced file size.
With an additional bleed area of 10mm (100mm @ 100%) This would insure that the team installing the graphics would have enough design to allow for overlapping and pattern matching on site.
